This may also involve different approaches (below the breast, by incision in the armpit, or around the nipple) & different placement techniques ( above /below the muscle or dual plane) The whole issue of how & where to place the implant is to ensure that the implant is not visible and cannot be felt when touched.

You are likely to feel sore for a day or two but you can be up and around after 24 hours. The discomfort is controlled by oral medications. After the first dressing you will be advised to use a sports bra regularly for at least 4 weeks. You must avoid sudden excessive movements at your shoulder. Stitches will be removed by 7th day. Driving is permitted after 2 weeks and exercise after 2 to 3 weeks. Avoid physical contact for about three to four weeks after surgery. The scars will be firm and pink for at least 6 weeks after which they generally begin to fade. Breast augmentation does not cause breast cancer, affect fertility, pregnancy or breast feeding
