Ways to Shield Yourself from UV Radiation Damage

Time of day: Avoid sun exposure in the middle of the day, when the UV rays are strongest.

Sunscreen:  Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30.

Sunglasses:  Look for sunglasses that block both types of UV radiation- UVA and UVB rays.

Protective clothing: Protect your skin with dark, tightly woven clothing.
